Dell Children’s
Experiences

Throughout the year, there are a handful of activations in which we have the opportunity to truly engage our community partners in patient facing, in-hospital experiences creating special moments for our families, while also supporting the mission of Dell Children’s Foundation.
Each level of sponsorship aligns our partners in activating these activities to create a better patient experience for the children and families we serve. We invite you to walk alongside us in our work to ensure families have the care they deserve close to home, and make it FUN while we’re at it…because kids deserve to be kids, even when they’re in the hospital!

Dell Children's Experiences Hero

Superhero Day

A beloved tradition, Superhero Day is all about bringing joy, positive energy and encouragement to children and families at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Thanks to the generous partnership of the Austin Police Department, officers dress up as superheroes and repel down hospital walls, make visits to patient rooms and attend a Meet and Greet to visit with patients. We hope you will join us for this action-packed, joy-filled day of bringing joy to our true heroes – our brave patients and their families.

Holiday Village

Families with children hospitalized at Dell Children’s will be able to select toy items for their family, including siblings of the patients. Having a child in the hospital is difficult and families may not be able to leave them to make holiday preparations. Your gift will help us bring the holidays to them!

Art of Giving

Patients, artists, sponsor’s children and their families join with our Art Therapy team to create one of a kind masterpieces that are then given to our sponsors for their support for our Art and Music therapy programs. Enjoy an afternoon of fun, food, friends and the joy in teaching the Art of Giving on site at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Contact Mary Elizabeth Fleming at [email protected] for more information about getting involved in Dell Children’s Experiences.
