ART OF GIVING

Sunday, April 7, 2024
10:00am – 3:00pm
Dell Children’s Medical Center

The Dell Children’s Art of Giving event not only raises funds for Art and Music Therapy, but teaches the next generation about philanthropy and giving back. Alongside event artists, children give their TALENTS and SKILLS to Dell Children’s by creating art. Their creations are then given back to the hospital and to our event sponsors and Dell Children’s uses the art to INSPIRE more people to GIVE.

Helping our children heal is vital to our future. They ARE our future. Since 2007, Dell Children’s has been providing a whole world of possibilities to thousands of children from 46 Central Texas counties and beyond. Our high impact healing environment surrounds children with art, nature, music, and family-centered care. In just 11 years, The Dell Children’s Art of Giving has raised $1,354,000 for Art and Music Therapy. These non-billable interventions are the best non-medicinal healing tools to help children work through problems, express themselves, create, sing, be happy, be sad, tell their story, work through family conflict, reveal abuse and neglect, or comply with medications and difficult surgeries. Art & Music Therapy allows kids to just be kids during some long, tough hospital days.

Funds raised at the Art of Giving will benefit Art & Healing and Music Therapy Programs.
