Historic Gift To Dell Children’s

We are excited to share that the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has made a significant commitment to advance the next phase of Dell Children’s growth. They have announced a $30 million matching grant for the advancement of pediatric care as part of their vision to create a cutting‐edge medical community in Central Texas. The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation’s gift will go toward advancing the quality of care at Dell Children’s and building the capacity needed to ensure that all children, even the most complex and critically ill, can be treated close to home. It is an investment that will change the future for children and families in Central Texas and beyond.

To meet the ambitious strategic growth plans of Dell Children’s, we need community partnership and investment. That is why last year, we launched the HERE campaign – a fundraising initiative intended to support Dell Children’s bold vision to offer the best healthcare in the nation to our children, right HERE at home. The effort will provide philanthropic funds from our community to support Dell Children’s plans to build three outstanding Centers of Excellence in Cardiovascular Care & Surgery, Neurosciences and Oncology/Hematology housed in the brand new Dell Children’s Specialty Pavilion–a 160,000‐square‐foot facility connected to Dell Children’s.

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation grant will serve as a lead and motivational gift to be matched by additional supporters. The grant also represents the largest gift in the history of Dell Children’s and Seton Foundations.

These are exciting times at Dell Children’s, and we invite you to learn more about these plans by visiting www.supportdellchildrens.org/here.
