Our Signature Rooms Will Make A Child’s Day

Dell Children’s care teams know how to put children at ease, but exam rooms can be intimidating and children may feel anxious, bored, and scared along with all the other bad feelings of being sick. The Dell Children’s Signature Room program has been developed to help our philanthropic supporters provide joy to a child’s otherwise difficult day. Your organization’s brand and mission will put fun into a functional medical space that will see up to 800 families per year.

Friends of Dell Children’s, including companies, individuals and family foundations are invited to make a gift of $250,000 or greater to sponsor a Signature Room for five years. In doing so, we will create a giant, illustrated game using your company’s symbols and mission to entertain and engage little spirits. Your organization’s floor to ceiling mural will be another way for parents to engage their children, for nurses to distract patients, and for doctors to put kids at ease in playful ways.

A signature room for your organization is a dynamic way to engage families with your brand’s mission while also adding love and play to a sick child’s day.

Gifts to the Dell Children’s Signature Room program will support growth for the Children’s Blood and Cancer Center to ensure that our children can remain HERE for the care they need.

Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center

As the only comprehensive children’s cancer center in Central Texas, we embrace a full-circle approach to care. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a serious pediatric cancer or blood disorder, his or her life can become consumed with the illness. The primary goal of our care team is to help children and their families successfully navigate this frightening and unfamiliar territory.

Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC) takes care of the whole family. All CBCC patients are assigned to a primary care team consisting of a physician, nurse practitioner and nurse. Patients and their families will always see familiar faces each time they visit the CBCC.

In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient medical treatment we take great care to address the child’s entire spectrum of physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs with an experienced team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, child life specialists, social workers, psychologists and dietitians. This psychosocial team provides an integrated approach to care for the mind, body and spirit that’s essential for helping children with chronic illnesses.
