The Children’s Trust is Dell Children’s Foundation’s annual giving society, made up of families and individuals who share a commitment to advancing pediatric health care at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Through annual giving, members come together to support innovative programs, life-changing equipment, and compassionate care that transforms the lives of children and families across Central Texas. Together, Trust members help strengthen care today while shaping the future of pediatric health care for generations to come.

Since Dell Children’s opened its doors in 2007, the Children’s Trust community has been part of something extraordinary. What began with a vision from founding champions Kim and Daniel Kozmetsky has grown into a community of families and advocates who believe children deserve access to the very best care, close to home.

Because of the generosity of Children’s Trust members, more than $5.6 million has been granted through membership giving and special projects, supporting more than 120 hospital initiatives and touching the lives of millions of children and families. From advancing innovative treatments and bringing new technology to the bedside to creating more compassionate experiences, every grant helps make a difference.

The Children’s Trust operates on a fiscal-year cycle, from July 1 through June 30. Each year, members renew their commitment to Dell Children’s through annual giving. Whether you are renewing your membership or joining the Trust for the first time, your generosity helps ensure children across Central Texas have access to exceptional, innovative care when they need it most.

• Family Picnic: August 29, 2026
  A family-friendly afternoon at Dell Children’s with food, games, activities, and time to connect with fellow Children’s Trust members and their families. The event kicks off the year ahead!

• Open House: October 13, 2026 & February 3, 2027
  An evening to connect, explore, and see philanthropy in action at Dell Children’s. Enjoy drinks and small bites while touring the hospital and getting an inside look at priority areas, new spaces, and the programs shaping the future of pediatric care.

• Trust Talks: Fall Date TBD
  An evening of drinks, small bites, and conversation at the heart of Dell Children’s mission. Join fellow Children’s Trust members to hear directly from Dell Children’s physicians, leaders, and patient families about the work advancing pediatric care and creating brighter futures for children. 

• Art of Giving: April 11, 2027
  Family event at Dell Children’s Hospital where patients and local artists create one-of-a-kind artwork to benefit the Child Life Art and Music Therapy Program. This art-centered, family-friendly event also teaches children the art of giving back.

• Give Dinner: Spring Date TBD
  Our signature event – the culmination of our year together. Hear from physician grant applicants over dinner and then cast your vote on where to direct our pool of philanthropic dollars.

• Giver Gallery: June 3, 2027
  For Art of Giving sponsors, artists, and Trust members. Final art from the Art of Giving is hung in a private gallery for an evening of celebration as artists reveal their inspired creations to sponsors who take their pieces home.
