Tous à Vélo

Introducing Austin’s first European-style Charity Ride, Tous à Vélo, benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center

The French way of saying “all on your bike,” Tous à Vélo is a one-day European-style cycling event that will take place on April 3, 2022. Participants will experience a non-competitive ride at the famed Circuit of the Americas with all proceeds benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center. In what is planned to be an annual event, Tous à Vélo is a uniquely Austin experience complete with live music, food and beverages.

In collaboration with Circuit of the Americas and SCOTT Sports, Ascension Seton is proud to produce Tous à Vélo for 2,000 riders. Participants will register for the event, starting at $10, with 100% of entry fees directly benefitting Dell Children’s Medical Center. Ensure you’re a part of this inaugural event by riding or philanthropically supporting Dell Children’s today.

The Tous à Vélo Hot Lap:

Whether you’re a rookie or a professional cyclist, the Hot Lap is an opportunity for a select 200 riders to test their limits on the hottest track around in an exclusive closed-course experience. At the famed Circuit of the Americas, the Hot Lap is a solo effort time-trial style race, pitting riders against the clock and a chance to compete against others in their age groups.

At 7:30am the track will open for a 30-minute warm up, allowing the riders to get their engines ready for the main event at 8am.

The Hot Lap will get under way from the top of Turn 1’s iconic hill. Professional photographers will capture the moment riders leave the start ramp. After cruising through the 3.4 mile long course, riders will blaze to the finish on top of the Turn 1 hill, finishing under the Majesties of the Mountain Arch. Riders will be spaced out every 20-30 seconds to ensure there is plenty of open track to test their limits.

At the end of the 1-lap race, riders will cruise down Pit Lane into the paddock area and await the start of the open-track ride. Racers who place in the top three in their age-group will be able to have their photo taken on top of a podium.

Tous à Vélo Event Schedule:

Proceeds from the Tous à Vélo event will go toward the area of greatest need, determined annually by leadership, which allows Dell Children’s the ability to impact our youngest patients and their families in the most meaningful way.
