Dell Children’s Trust: Powering Progress Through Purposeful Giving

Dell Children’s Trust is a collective of advocates and philanthropic ambassadors united by one mission: to make a bold and lasting impact on the lives of children in Central Texas. Through collaborative giving, Trust members help drive innovation, expand care, and shape the future of pediatric healthcare – now and for generations to come.

Since the opening of Dell Children’s in 2007, the Trust has been part of something extraordinary. For 18 years this community has shown up with open hearts, big dreams, and bold love. What began as a vision from founding champions Kim and Daniel Kozmetsky has become a powerful movement for good.

Because of the members of Dell Children’s Trust, more than $5.4 million has been granted through membership dues and special projects, funding over 120 hospital initiatives and touching the lives of millions of  children and families. These aren’t just numbers. Behind every dollar is a story, a tiny hand wrapped around life saving equipment, a parent finally exhaling in a place that feels safe, cutting-edge technology arriving just in time.

This generosity fuels a hospital that’s more than a hospital – it’s a sanctuary. And it’s helping us earn national recognition, including rankings in seven pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report for 2025–2026.

  • Sip, Support, Sunset – Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 – Quince Lake House: An evening on the lake to toast to the mission of Dell Children’s.  Enjoy dinner and drinks in the company of Dell Children’s physician speakers, patient families, and leaders of the Trust.
  • Art of Giving – Sunday, March 29, 2026: Family event at Dell Children’s Hospital where patients and local artists create one-of-a-kind artwork to benefit the Child Life Art and Music Therapy Program.   • The Give Dinner – Thursday, May 7, 2026 – Austin Country Club: Our signature event – the culmination of our year together. Hear from physician grant applicants over dinner and then cast your vote on where to direct our pool of philanthropic dollars.
  • Giver Gallery – Thursday, June 4, 2026 – West Chelsea Contemporary Gallery: For Art of Giving sponsors, artists, and Trust members. Final art from the Art of Giving is hung in a private gallery for an evening of celebration as artists reveal their inspired creations to sponsors who take their pieces home
