DELL CHILDREN’S NORTH
Dell Children’s has a bold vision to enable children and families to remain close to home for care, no matter the diagnosis. As the Central Texas community continues to grow, existing space at Dell Children’s is over capacity. In addition to growth and expansion at the main Dell Children’s campus, Dell Children’s Medical Center recently completed construction on a new pediatric hospital in North Austin.
The new hospital totals more than 135,000 square feet on 34 acres at Avery Ranch Boulevard and US-183A in Williamson County. The hospital includes 36 beds and emergency and trauma services with two operating rooms, endoscopy and procedure rooms, sleep labs, and shelled space for future growth. The campus also include a 60,000-square-foot medical office building and dedicated free parking.
Dell Children’s North Campus
1st floor – Level III Trauma Center with 18 emergency bays, imaging center and an outpatient retail pharmacy
2nd floor – 4 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy rooms and room to grow
3rd floor – 36 universal beds (12 designated as intensive care rooms and 24 designated as acute care rooms) and a Ronald McDonald House 2 bedroom suite and family respite space
4th floor – Additional space for future growth for up to 72 beds
The north campus also includes a 60,000-square-foot medical office building and dedicated free parking.
Growing With Our Community
Dell Children’s goal is to create a pediatric ecosystem where children and their families can have all of their critical care needs met right HERE, at home. In partnership with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas and community physician partners, Dell Children’s will continue to focus on ambitious growth to become a destination for all levels of pediatric care by strengthening existing specialties and developing additional pediatric complex care programs.
