The Art of Giving: Where Creativity Heals and Where Art Meets Purpose

The Dell Children’s Art of Giving is more than an event – it’s a movement that empowers the next generation to discover the joy of philanthropy while raising vital funds for Art and Music Therapy at Dell Children’s.
Alongside professional artists, children use their own talents and creativity to design artwork that is donated back to the hospital and shared with event sponsors. These creations don’t just decorate walls – they inspire giving, spark hope, and remind us all of the healing power of art.

Since 2007, the Art of Giving has raised over $1.5 million to support programs that help kids heal through creativity. These therapies – never billed to families – offer children powerful non-medical tools to process emotions, tell their stories, navigate challenges, and simply be kids during long hospital stays.

At Dell Children’s, we believe healing goes beyond medicine. Surrounded by art, music, nature, and family-centered care, children discover new strength and resilience. The Art of Giving ensures that every child has access to these life-changing experiences.

Proceeds from this event directly benefit Dell Children’s Art & Music Therapy Program because helping children heal is not only vital to their future, it’s vital to ours.

Special thanks to Grady Nipper for being our Art of Giving Ambassador and sharing his courageous Leukemia journey to help other patients at Dell Children’s.  Learn more about Grady’s story.
